An Unbelievable Shot Helps Clinch Title 

Brothers Dennis and Al Bills were crowned champions of perhaps the most exciting horseshoe tournament in Bills reunion history. The final match produced an unimaginable outcome that will be talked about for years!

Sisters Liz Ryan and Nora Gibson became the first all female team to win a horseshoe match. They won three matches and ended up in the semi-finals versus the eventual champions.

 

Al Bills and Bill Currier gather their shoes during the exciting finals match-up. 

Meanwhile...

 

...in the opposite pit, Dick Currier and Dennis Bills retrieve their shoes. Little do they know that their next four shots will go down in reunion history.

 
Both teams gather to look at the unbelievable outcome: a leaner by Dick Currier was then topped by Dennis Bills on the final shot of the match!!

 

Amazingly, both shoes are leaning on the stake, and on each other!!

 

Al Bills gets a closer look at what just happened.          While Garth Gibson looks for some sage advice.

 

Family patriarch Al Bills ("young Al") brings his many years of horseshoe experience to render a fair and impartial decision: the second leaner "tops" the first and is awarded double points.  

 

 

The Currier and Bills brothers celebrate a fantastic match that delighted all and highlighted another great family reunion.
