In Memoriam (Reprinted from from the North Texas Star-Telegram) Susan Carter Susan was born Sept. 30, 1956. She graduated from Broadmoor High School in Baton Rouge, La., in 1974. She attended Louisiana State University and was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. Susan worked as a database maintenance team leader at Harris Methodist Health Plan/THR before her diagnosis. She loved to travel and loved her Weimaraner, Madison. She loved her children and was very proud of their accomplishments. Susan fought a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) for nearly eight years and was a strong supporter of finding a cure. She was an inspiration to everyone, including her caregivers. The family would like to express thanks to Journey Hospice of St. Tammany.
