Frank R. TROY Frank R. Finn Jr., 76, of Valley View Ave., died
Sunday, June 17, 2007 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Frank R. Finn Sr. and
Noreen Fitzgerald Finn. He was a graduate of School 18, La Salle
Institute in Troy, class of 1949 and Siena College in Loudonville,
class of 1959. Mr. Finn was employed for over 25 years with the New
York State Department of Labor in Albany, retiring in 1986. More
recently, he was a career development counselor at Hudson Valley
Community College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Frank was
active in the Brunswick Little League, softball league and Pop
Warner Football program. He also umpired college level baseball, and
was offered a position as a pitcher with the St. Louis Cardinals AA
baseball team. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Patricia
Carter Finn; his children, Kevin F. Finn of Tuscon, Ariz., Patrick
M. Finn of Wellfleet, Mass., Colleen M. Finn of Burlington, Vt. and
Bridget M. Finn of Greenwich, N.Y. Also surviving is a sister, Mary
Lois Finn Davin of Raymertown, N.Y.; a brother, Robert C. Finn of
Tustin, Calif.; his grandchildren, Sean P. Finn and KC Finn of
Tucson and Finn A. Brletich of Greenwich; as well as several nieces
and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday at 9 a.m from the
Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rt. 32), Waterford
and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Waterford.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and
friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Memorial
