| Patricia
M. Finn, 81, of Valley View Avenue died on Thursday, November 20,
2014, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in
Troy, she was the daughter of the late John Warren and Margaret
Bills Carter. She was a graduate of Waterford High School. Patricia
had been employed at Catholic Central High School for 17 years and
retired in 1995. She was a communicant of both St. Mary of the
Assumption Church in Waterford and Our Lady of Victory Church in
Troy. She was the widow of Frank R. Finn Jr., who died in 2007, and
is survived by her loving children, Kevin F. Finn of Phoenix, Ariz.,
Patrick M. Finn (Jose Sanchez) of Wellfleet, Mass., Colleen M. Finn
of Troy and Bridget M. Finn of Greenwich. She is the sister of
Warren Carter of Florida, Carol Yattaw of Waterford, Michael Carter
of Troy and the late Charles Carter. She is the proud grandmother of
Sean and KC Finn of Tucson, Ariz., and Finn Brletich of Greenwich.
Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be
Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at 11 a.m., from the Philip J. Brendese
Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Route 32), Waterford, and at 11:30
a.m., at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Waterford, where a Mass
of Christian Burial will be celebrated by her cousin, the Most Rev.
Bishop Matthew Clark. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery,
Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on
Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Those who wish may make contributions to
Catholic Central High School or St. Mary of the Assumption Church
Restoration Fund in care of the funeral home office. To express your
